Getting Started

That’s a great question. All our tom-toming about its many benefits can delude you into thinking that it’s meant for people with food allergies or chronic ailments like diabetes and obesity.

But that’s far from the truth. The answer is it’s meant for EVERYONE.

The Super Eats foods are made with the most premium, cleanest superfoods our planet has to offer. Ingredients like pumpkin seeds, almonds, berries, dates, psyllium husk. Those that don’t just fill your stomach but give your body choc-full of nutrition.

So yes, The Super Eats is meant for everyone interested in improving their lifespan and healthspan.

Also… we’re mighty proud of the fact that we do not use any hidden ingredients. No synthetic additives, no preservatives to stay on that shelf forever. So it’s not just great for you, it’s also great for your children.

Congratulations! And welcome to the new super life you are about to build for yourself and your family.

A good place to start is with the staples. Staples are food items you and your family consume often - once everyday or may be in every meal. Look at The Super Eats menu and see what you consume on a daily basis. Is it the bread, biscuits with chai, a little sweet something with coffee? Start there.

In Pareto’s language, this tiny step will make for the 20% that will have an 80% positive impact on your health.

Firstly, it’s natural if you don’t. How we experience food is closely (perhaps only) related to the food habits, perceptions, and memories we’ve acquired over years. So:

  • Within breads - try different mixes until you find the one you like the most. It may take a month or so but once you find that out, you’ll make that your staple.
  • If Pumpkin Seed is not your thing, try almond. If Jowar is too hard, try Protein+.
  • For us, at home, the Pumpkin Seed basil chilli with eggs is our staple breakfast and the Jowar slice with curry is a staple for lunch.
  • As a rule of thumb - start slow.

    - Seeds and nuts are heavy. Increase gradually.
    - Go slow with desserts sweetened with plant-based sweeteners - if you are not used to them. Increase gradually.

About The Super Eats Ingredients

At The Super Eats, we choose Nut and Seed Flours over traditional grain-based flours due to the remarkable health benefits and unique nutritional profiles they offer.

Nut and seed flours, derived from almonds, coconut, pumpkin seeds, and similar sources, are naturally gluten-free, making them an ideal choice for those with gluten sensitivities. Additionally, they are rich in essential nutrients, healthy fats, and protein, providing a more nutrient-dense alternative to refined grains.

These flours have a lower glycemic index i.e. they’re low on carbohydrates, which means they have a milder impact on blood sugar levels, making them a great choice for everyone.

Research studies have shown that incorporating nut and seed flours in the diet can contribute to enhanced satiety, aid in weight management, and may have potential protective effects against chronic diseases, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disorders.

The emphasis on protein and healthy fats in our products is rooted in our commitment to your overall well-being. Protein is an essential macronutrient that plays a crucial role in building and repairing tissues, supporting a healthy immune system, and promoting satiety, making you feel full and satisfied after meals.

Healthy fats, on the other hand, are heart-healthy and play a vital role in brain function, hormone regulation, and the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. By incorporating healthy fats, we enhance the flavour and texture of our products while providing sustained energy and a feeling of fullness.

By emphasising protein and healthy fats, we aim to offer products that not only taste delicious but also provide you long-lasting energy, support your nutritional needs, and contribute to your overall health and vitality.

We use a lot of seed flours in The Super Eats kitchen - single or blends. It's because these tiny things offer high-quality protein, heart-healthy fats, essential vitamins & minerals. They are easier to digest than nuts. Plus, they have a much lower environmental footprint.

Yes! Millet grains are rich in essential nutrients such as fibre, vitamins, and minerals. They contain significant amounts of magnesium, phosphorus, and calcium, essential for bone health, as well as B-vitamins, which are important for energy metabolism and overall well-being. They are naturally gluten-free and easily digestible, making them suitable for those with sensitive stomachs.

One of the other reasons we swear by millet crops is that they require minimal water, making them an environmentally friendly and sustainable choice. Their mild, nutty flavour enhances the taste and texture of our products, offering a delightful eating experience.

Amaranth is unique among millets as it contains all nine essential amino acids, making it a complete protein source. This is especially important for those following plant-based diets, as it ensures they receive a well-rounded amino acid profile, supporting muscle repair and overall body functions. It is also particularly high in calcium, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus. These combined with its antioxidants, Amaranth supports the body's defence against oxidative stress and inflammation.

With its earthy and mildly sweet flavour and generous nutrition content, Amaranth millets did not have to try too hard to convince us to get a nod of approval from The Super Eats kitchens!

General

The pricing of our products reflects the commitment we have towards providing you with the highest quality, responsibly sourced ingredients, meticulous craftsmanship, and a dedication to your health and well-being. Here is everything that goes behind the scenes at Super Eats to make our products priced the way they are:

1) Premium Ingredients
We insist on using only the finest, cherry-picked ingredients sourced from trusted vendors. These premium-quality ingredients, such as organic superfoods, nuts, seeds, and gluten-free millets, come at a higher cost. Plus, we do not add inexpensive grain flours to add some bulk, compensate for the high price, and compromise on health benefits.

We prioritise quality over quantity, ensuring that every ingredient in our products contributes to your health and satisfaction.

2) Right Processing For Optimal Absorption of Nutrients
We believe in preserving the inherent nutrients of our ingredients by keeping the processing minimal and correct. This ensures that the final products retain the maximum nutritional value, while becoming more bio-available or easily absorbable by our body.

Making soft breads and cakes with nothing artificial or synthetic requires deep culinary expertise. Maintaining the nutritional profile while enhancing flavours requires constant research and trials. At The Super Eats kitchen, these trials are a norm of the day.

3) Being Responsible & Sustainable
We are committed to ethical and sustainable sourcing practices. By supporting local farmers and communities and using environmentally responsible practices, we ensure that our products have a positive impact on both your health and the planet. These practices, while essential, can be more expensive than conventional methods.
